Ola’s life journey is a powerful blend of education, service, and leadership. Her academic foundation began at the University of Lagos, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Language. Driven by a passion for international affairs and humanitarian service, she went on to complete a Master’s degree in International Relations at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia.

These academic achievements laid the groundwork for a remarkable career spanning more than 18 years in the welfare sector. Ola has worked extensively with vulnerable individuals and families and currently provides domestic violence support services, helping survivors navigate their paths toward healing and empowerment.

Beyond her professional role, Ola’s commitment to community development shines through her leadership. She is the Co-Founder of the African Women Group (AWG), Sydney—a vibrant organization dedicated to supporting African women and children across the diaspora.

Under her leadership, AWG has grown into a recognized community organization, hosting annual Dinner Dance events that attract over 500 women and allies, delivering empowerment programs, and securing funding from government bodies and NGOs across Australia.
